Guests frequently highlight the hotel's excellent location, just a short walk from Marble Arch and close to the Marble Arch Underground station, making it easy to get around London. The spacious rooms are noted for their serene decor and luxurious beds, with some even featuring smart TVs in the bathrooms. Dining experiences receive praise, particularly the Omakase meal at Tokii; however, a few guests have mentioned that some of the minibar items are not complimentary as initially stated. Despite this, many consider the experience worth the cost, eager to return.

Elegant and Serene Stay

welcome notedelicious treatscomplimentary minibar
I appreciated the welcome note from the General Manager. A plate of treats was also a lovely touch. The complimentary minibar with soft drinks was a nice bonus.. I liked using the traditional teapot and cups. Room and breakfast service include Japanese and Arabic options.
The staff wasn't particularly friendly , disappointing. they provided a small discount to compensate for the inconvenience.
Service
9/10
The staff provided perfect service . Turndown service included bedside bottled water and Japanese robes. Housekeeping maintained faultless cleanliness throughout the hotel and was very responsive to requests.
Location
9/10
The hotel benefits from a central location. It is a short walk to Marble Arch station. The setting is slightly set back from the main thoroughfare. This ensures a quieter environment.
Rooms
9/10
The bedroom was warm. Memory foam pillows supported my neck comfortably. The room featured mellow tones and blonde wood. A comfy bed and plenty of light from the good sized Georgian window added to the appeal.

Acceptable Stay, But Some Issues Exist

clean roomcommunication breakdownunstable heating
The room was clean, which I suppose, is the bare minimum I expect.
The minibar policy was confusing. I was informed upon arrival that everything except alcoholic drinks were complimentary, but I found a bill for the snacks at checkout. Apparently, only the water and juices were free, so there was a communication breakdown. Plus, the heating was not working very well. The room was either too hot or too cold and it could not be set to a comfortable temperature, what a joke.

the staff were friendly.
I found the corridor lighting dim. The undulating floor wasn't luggage-friendly. also, the bathtub was nice, but otherwise, the hotel felt average. i don't think i'd spend that much money to stay there again.

The hotel's location is convenient , offering easy access to transportation. My room was well-appointed with thoughtful amenities. The staff were warm and hospitable , I am grateful.
I noticed some delays with the breakfast service , especially when ordering from the menu. The buffet items depleted quickly , and I observed slow refills. There was no concierge service upon arrival . I had to manage my luggage independently.
